In September 2022, I worked with a remarkable client, Dr. Ananya Sharma, a skilled medical anesthesiologist from Delhi. Despite her professional success, she grappled with a deeply personal issue—strained interactions with her mother, Mrs. Kavita Sharma. These recurring conflicts left her emotionally drained, wondering why their relationship seemed riddled with tension.
Dr. Ananya reached out to me in search of clarity and resolution. She longed to understand the root cause of these conflicts and bring peace to her bond with her mother.
The Path to Healing
After assessing her situation, I explained two approaches to uncovering the underlying issues:
Past Life Regression – A profound exploration of unresolved karmic patterns across lifetimes.
Relationship Reading – A faster, more straightforward method to identify karmic debts and their influence on current relationships.
Dr. Ananya chose the latter, intrigued by its simplicity and effectiveness.
Discovering the Karmic Connection
The relationship reading unveiled a fascinating revelation: Dr. Ananya and her mother shared five past lives together, carrying over unresolved karmic debts from three of those lifetimes. These karmic imprints were influencing their current relationship.
Here’s what the karmic reading revealed:
Karmic Debt #1:
Lifetime 3: Dr. Ananya (then a male) was Mrs. Kavita’s son. When he was 27, he physically hurt his mother due to a disagreement involving his wife. The incident left a deep emotional wound, and Mrs. Kavita cursed their relationship.
Karmic Debt #2:
Lifetime 2: A similar mother-son dynamic, where Dr. Ananya, at age 37, again harmed his mother in a conflict involving his wife. Another curse further strained their spiritual bond.
Karmic Debt #3:
Lifetime 1: The roles changed, with Mrs. Kavita as the husband and Dr. Ananya as the wife. At 28, Dr. Ananya left the marriage for another man, breaking her husband’s heart. Mrs. Kavita remained unmarried in that lifetime, carrying the pain of abandonment into subsequent incarnations.
A Deep Dive into the Present
After analyzing these patterns, I shared a detailed report with Dr. Ananya. When we met for a follow-up, the karmic debts began to make sense to her.
It became clear that Mrs. Kavita’s unresolved wounds from past lifetimes—rooted in abandonment and betrayal—manifested as criticism and emotional rigidity in this life. Her disapproval of Dr. Ananya’s male friends and eventual husband stemmed from a subconscious fear of losing her daughter again.
Bringing Peace to the Past and Present
Dr. Ananya revealed an additional layer to her story: her son had recently moved abroad for higher studies and wanted her to join him. She now faced a dilemma—should she stay with her mother or follow her son?
To resolve the karmic debts and heal their relationship, I advised her to remain with her mother and provide emotional support until her passing. This selfless act would help both souls release the burdens of past lifetimes.
Additionally, I offered her the following guidance:
Acknowledge the Pattern: Understand her mother’s behavior as a reflection of karmic wounds rather than personal malice.
Balance Autonomy with Compassion: While staying supportive, Dr. Ananya should still prioritize her own happiness and well-being.
Future Relationships: When entering a new relationship, she should trust her own judgment rather than rely solely on her mother’s approval.
Insights into a Complex Bond
One striking moment during our session was when I hypothesized that Mrs. Kavita had likely disapproved of every male friend or partner Dr. Ananya had ever introduced. Her astonished reaction confirmed this pattern—dating back to school days, her mother had been critical of every man she brought into her life, including her husband.
Dr. Ananya confided that she had been living separately from her husband for years due to his demeaning behavior and excessive demands for physical intimacy, which she found overwhelming. While she desired a meaningful future relationship, she now understood the importance of balancing her mother’s input with her own instincts.
The Takeaway: Healing Across Lifetimes
This case highlights the intricate dynamics of karmic relationships and the power of spiritual healing. Through understanding and addressing these unresolved debts, Dr. Ananya found clarity, peace, and a roadmap for strengthening her bond with her mother while reclaiming her personal autonomy.
Healing isn’t always about changing others—it’s about transforming how we perceive and respond to the patterns in our lives. If you’re struggling with challenging relationships, remember that the answers often lie in understanding the unseen threads that connect us.
